Right Leg Was Broken Just Above
the Ankle When Barn Door
Fell Upon Her
Late yesterday Mrs J C Price was
the victim of an accident at the fam

right leg just above the ankle It
was just as the rain came up and
Mrs Price had driven home and into
the barn where the horse was un
hitched The door is a massive one
and moves on rollers It was not left
open enough to allow the horse to
pass out past the door and the
buggy and the animal in attempting
to do so became jammed and made a
lunge to free himself He carried
the door with him with the above re
sult Doctors were called and the
member was set but the lady will be
crippled for some few weeks as a
result
Dr Ed Link set the break anil
said it was a simple one but would

Lost a Fine Dog
Mr Walter Baty was lamenting the
loss of a fine bull dog this morning
He says some one put out poison for
him This is a mean thing to do
and should never be done It isfar
better and more merciful to shoot a
dog or other animal than to poison
him v
