C~A. The First Spiritualist society bhs taken steps to sue the Young Men’s Christian association of San Antonio for damages end breach of contract. This announcement was made ia the course of a lecture In the Red Men’s hall by Harrison D. Barrett, president of the Nstional Spiritualist Society of America last night. This grievance of the Spiritualists grows out of the disagreement of the program for Mr. Bsrrett's course of three lectures on Spiritualism to San Antonio, on Wed 'needay. Thursday and Friday, by the secretary of the Y. M. C. A., notifying Aire Laura B. Payne et-tha Mose at Mr. Barrett’s first lecture In the Y. M. C. A. hall that the subsequent lec tures could not be held to non-evange- Heal organizations. Mr. Barrett and Mrs. Payne stated Thursday night that ths petition in the suit is being drawn up by na. attorney. The amount of damagee alleged to have been suffered was aot stated.
