the ground is ready for the switches I

and the works ruunim within BIX
months This is remarkably quick
work Think of it if this iron plant il i
located in the city it will double the
population of Ogden before the next
census is taken It means that our
farmers will find a home market for
their grain It means that the gardener
will find a ready sale for his vegetables
It means that the county and city will
experience a new era of prosperity
And let us add that it means that the
prosperity of the whole territory will
be added tofor no one city of the terri
tory can be made so prosperous as
Ogden will be without the balance of
the territory being benefited

ITS strange how so many of the Utah
republican newspapers are praising
Governor West these days for his
prompt and energetic action in the Ute
invasion matter when they so ridiculed
the governors pluck and spirit during
the time of the invasion of the territory

right then as he is now Our governor
is nervy man and a valiant officer
We may rest assured that the people of
