Marriage license were issued Satur

Chief Fowler took rapist Booth
and the five tramps indicted for riot, up
to the penitentiary today .The piospects
are that the trial of these tramps will
not be had this side of statehood,
when the expense of their trials and
that of Hayes and others pending to
gether with all the costs of bailiffs
jurors, stenographer and other court
expenses will De thrown onto Utah
county. The prospects are that this
county will get the most ex
pensive ot the first expensive ex
periences under statehood, though of
course the advantages of statehood
will come in time and more than count
eract these immediate disadvantages.
