The Board of Trustees of the Vil lage of Mountain Home, Idaho, met in special called session on Novem ber 24th, 1915, at eight o'clock P. M. for the purpose of hearing and considering objection to the assess ment roll as filed with the Villlage Clerk by the Sewer Committee, by I lie parties, or any party aggrieved by said assessment. Said meeting b ing in pursuance of the following duly published call: Notice of Assessment. Notice is hereby given that the Sewer Committee of the Villlage of Mountain Home, Idaho, has certified to the Board of Trustees of said Village an assessment roll for Lucid Sewerage Improvement District No. 1, of said Village of Mountain Home, which assessment roll was filed with the Village Clerk an the 6th day of November, 1915, and is now on file in the office of said Village Clerk. Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustee® of said Village of Mountain Home, on the 24th day of November, 1915, at a meeting to be held at the Board rooms in said Village at 8 o'clock in the evening of said day, will hear and coonsider objections to said assessment roll by the parties, or any party aggrieved by said assessment. Ttie following members were pres ent, Park, Harmon, Johnson, Weed and Sullivan. The following proceedings were had. to-wit: Protests had been received and were on file with the Clerk, from Ada E. Howie, A. B. Farnsworth, H. H. Eaton, Alina G. Corker, C. E. Corker, The Great Shoshone and Twin Falla Water Power Co. and the Ida ho Power and Light Co. for the Elec-! named, asked to have permission to correct the protest filed for Ada E. Howie in paragraph 3 near the end of said protest, said correction being! to change the reading where It said "said Lots 1 and 2" and made to read "said lands." Permission was granted to make correction. Mr. Howie and Mr. Corker then ad dressed the Board to support of said first five protests filed with the Clerk. Mr. Howie admitted that said protests were practically identical and could be heard together. Mr. Johnson moved that the as sessment roll as prepared by the Sewer Committee on the Lots and Parcels of Land covered by the pro t sts of Ada E. Howie, A. B. Farns worth, H. H. Eaton,Alma G. Gorker and C. E. Corker, be allowed to stand as filed with the Village Clerk. Motion seconded by Harmon. On call of the roll on the motion, the following members voted "Yes," Park, Harmon, Johnson, Sullivan, Weed Whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried. Through an error of the Sewer Committee a double assessment was I made on page 62, on. the assess-' inent of the G. S. and T. F. W. P, Co. in District No. 1, and this was Mr. E. C. Kiersted appeared be fore the Board nd ddresaod them to support of the protests for the assessment roll. Motion lost for want of a second. Mr. Hiller asked that permission be granted him to allow the pop corn wagon to stand on the street where , it is at present located with out paying a license until Dec. 1st, 1915. On condition that he does not open up for business. It was moved by Harmon, and sec onded by Johnson that permission be granted. Motion carried. It was moved by Weed and second ed by Harmon that the marshal be in structed to collect from A. R. Cald weill the past due license for the Opera House in full. NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Trusters of the Vil lage of Mountain Home, Ida. will re ceive bids for the digging of a well at the pumping station, said well to be fifteen feet (15) to diameter and from twenty-five (25) to thirty feet (30) in depth. These bids are for excavation, only, and are to be to the hands of the Village Clerk not later than eight o'clock P. M. on Friday evening, Dec. 17th' 1915. RESOLVED; That iit is the sense of this Board of Trustees of the Village of Mountain Home, Idaho, that for the purpose of improving the sanitary condition of said Village, that Sanitary Improvement District, to be known as District No. 3 shall be established ini saidi Village to be comprised of the following ter ritory: a Lateral Block C. 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 of the 'Original Townsite of Moun tain Home, Ida. Block 23, Linton's Addition. Block 26, Norell's Addition. Block 1, Colthoap's Addition. Block 1, Daniels' Addition. Blocks 1 and 2, Chabots Addition. Block 16, College Addition. And the acreage lands lying south of Block 1, Colthorp's Addition which are in Section 25. Miss Maude Hanley has accepted the position of stenographer for County Attorney, Dan McLaughlin, succeeding Miss Dora Ottenhermer who resigned to become the bride of Ed Goddard. Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Lynch came down Friday evening for the week end from Sunny side where Mr. Lynch is teaching. Mr. Lynch will return for duty Monday while Mr®. L. tar ries with her sister, Mrs. Frazier a few days until the baby recuperates from the effects of a bad cold. Mrs. Farris who has been conduct ing study classes for the ladies In the afternoon has proven herself to be a teacher of worth. She has brought to many a lady a new vision of her possibilities. She leaves Mountain Home with a host of our ' mothers and Jadies praising God for her inspiration and life. W. C. T. U. NOTES. Regular meetitog of the W, C. T. U. was held with Mrs. Daisy Hall Tuesday afternoon November 30. A very good attendance of members and an interesting meeting was thereault of it. Plans were discussed for a public meeting near the 1st of January, but no definite date was set. Next! regu lar meeting will be held with Mrs. Frank Englehart Tuesday, December 14th.
