Wherefore the following motion was made aud seconded that the Auditor appoint the Sheriff the Jailer. No. 4, $6.50 The following claims were allowed and ordered paid out of the current ex pense fund of 1905. w. D. Reynolds, to premium on county official bond, $596.50 Same, to premium on insurance on I county jail and contents, $106. j Petition of Hugh Sproat, signed by j twelve taxpayers in road district No. 8 asking the Board to alter and change the Overland road from Canyon Creek to Boise a< or near Sole's Rest: The petitioner, Hugh Sproat, agrees to construct the new part of said road free of cost to the county, and agrees to put said changed part in as good condition as the old road. whereupon the Board ordered that the matter be referred to the road con tractor of Dist. No. 8, and that the said road contractor be instructed to allow said change to be made in the said road at or near place called Sole's Rest; providing the new road will be equally as good in every way as the old road, and not to allow the old road to he closed until the new one is accepted by said road contractor. It is further ordered that the road con - tractor of said Dist. No. 8 make a re port to this board in case the proposed change is made in the road. Contract for the county physician was given to Drs. Smith <fc Mather, at $150 per annum for a term of two years. The board hereby orders the sheriff to put in three berths in the jail by double decking. Board adjourned until 9 a. m. Jan uary, 19,1905. Pursuant to adjournment, board met, and all members being present, they proceeded to examine claims against the current expense fund of 1904. Chas. Pascoe, county printing and supplies furnished. Allowed, $586.66. It is hereby ordered that the board employ Janies S. i'ogart to expert all accounts of county officers' books, ac cording t o the proposal by him filed with the bourd the 19ih day of Jan uary, 1905.
