A Desirable Enterprise.
The public will be pleased to
learn that Bonners Ferry is to have
first class restaurant and short
order house,
The proprietors of the new en
terprise are M. B. Kennedy and
W. 3. Green ot Milwaukee, Wis
consin. They have secured the
McCracken building and will open
the "Badger Restaur ant" therein
tomorrow. Both gentlemen have
acquaintances here who recommend
them in the hignest terms. They
have very neat quarters and are
installing up-to date fixtures.
The plan upon which they pro
pose to conduct the establishment
to serve a short order breakfast
and supper, with a regular 25 cent
dinner on week days, and a special
35 cent dinner on Sundays. They
will make a specialty of their 35
Cent Sunday dinners. The regu
lar short order bill of fare will be
served at all hours during the day
and until midnight,
Another feature tu which the
H&rald is requested to call at
tenlion is that they will serve ice
cream in connection.
The new establishment will also
make a specialty of serving parties
for special occasions.
The new enterprise will be cor
dially received by tha public.

customs at Port Hill, was in town
Thursday on his way to Coeur d'
Aleno. Mr. Ryan paid the Hkr
ali) a pleasant call while in the
city. While not in politics at
present, the "war horse" has lost
none of his interest in political
nirtiers.

ern Idaho News, accornpained by
Hon. W F. Whitaker, the Sand
point banker, was in town a few'
hours Tuesday and paid this office
