It's principal resources are ag riculture, dairying and stock raising, mining, timber. The county includes a large portion of the Kootenai Val ley, the most fertile district of the world. Cutover lands may be pur e-based on long time contracts at from $10 to $25 per acre. Bottom and mead ow lands sell for from $9 to $r>0 per acre. There are many hundreds of acres of agricultural land in Boundary county which will make fine homes for the energetic farmer. Raw material in quantities to last 100 years, for .paper pulp, may be found in the county and this timber is easy of ac cess. The mining industry is yet In its infancy. Sufficient capital would put only one of a dozen mines on a dividend-paying basis. The climate is ideal, the rainfall all that is needed. No irrigation in this district. Good roads, good schools. Plenty, of trans portation facilities. Bonners Ferry Idaho is the county seat of Boundary county and is located on two transcontinenal railways, the Great Northern and Spo kane International. Bonners Ferry is the head of navigation on the Koote nai river. Kootenai Valley railway, which runs to Foothill, close to the Canadian boun dary line. Bonners Ferry has three fine, mod ern school buildings and an efficient corps of teachers. Seven religious de nominations are represented and near ly all of the best lodges have organi zations.
