Event of Season.
Read Lwhat is promised by the
Hallowe'en Social next Wednesday
evening in the way of entertainment
and which will be given for 15 and 25c
Admission.
All preparations are now about
completed for the great social gather
ing and entertainment next Wednesday
evening, Oct. 50, Hallowe'en night
when the Christian Endeavor Society
of Kendrick will proceed to see what
tbey can do to amuse the general
public.
The program as presented to the
editor embraces tHe entire category
of amusements with special feature
worth mentioning.
First is the postoffice which will
deliver postcards as soon as mailed,
these cards are the work of local
artists bearing on the occasion and
local matters and hits. A sufficient
force will be ou hand to fake care of
the mail and ensure prompt delivery.
Then there is the newspaper which
will be a novel teaturf ; A newspaper
will be edited and published that
evening which will take up the even
ting and its events alone, this paper
" ill be published by word of mouth
mid will be intensely interesting

there will be mu sic, ^fortune teller of
the Orient, uud refreshments, of
which a plenty has been secured to
satisfy the tnc st extravagant appetite.
Don't fail to attend this entertain
ment and p it in a few hours of solid

The ball, the Fraternal temple will
be properly decorated aud pumpkins
will abound in every corner, while
music will relieve the surfeit of pleasure

Pythias of Kendrick, which for number
of years has been given as a celebrat
ion ot the oiders prosperity announ
ced this year for the eve of Thanks
giving Nov 27 and promises to sur
pass in the perfection of its appoint
ments any event heretofore held
It will be in the shape of an annual
ball, and the committee to whom the
care of the event was left states they
will spare no expense lo make the
dance a brilliant success in every way
The Temple has been secured for
the occasion, the committee are now
arranging for the best music to be
had in the country and the refresh
ments will be perfect
With this order, the ball has never
been a move to make money, but
rather to give the public a good time,
show the prosperity of the lodge and
make the occasion an annual celebrat
ion. therefoie if the order does not
loose money on the event they are
satisfied and to this end devote the
proceeds for the benefit of the patrons
lather than the coffers ot the lodge
