Wright has jnst returned from the mines in the Marshall Lake district and reports things very active in that section. H. H. Holloway, of the Grange ville Cigar Factory, made a trip across the prairie lut week and placed a large quantity of his de servedly popular cigars with the leading dealers. D.L. Contractor Von Berg is rapidly getting Main street in shape and now has most of the heavy rock on. He will soou start on the crushed rock and with no bad luck will have our main thoroughfare in good condition by the time the fall rains set in. Reports from outside precincts indicate that the democratic con vention Saturday will be more generally attended than any like gathering in recent years. Nearly all the mountain precincts will be represented and all are enthusi astic for the success of the ticket in November. D. 1904, at the office of the clerk of the board of trustees, at Grangeville, Idaho, sell coupon bonds of said Independ ent School District No.2, aggregat ing five thousand six hundred and eighty (5,680) dollars to be issued in denominations of 11,000 each, except that one will be issued for 11,680. Said bonds Bhall bear in terest not to exceed six per cent per annum, interest payable semi annually. Said bonds to be paya ble and redeemable on the first day of Oct., 1914. Pursuant to an election held in Independent school School District No. 2, on August 19th, 1904, authorizing said board of trustees to issue said coupon bonds. Sealed bids will be received by the clerk, W. A. Hall, at Grangeville post office until 10 o'clock a. m. on said September 23rd, 1904. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
