News of Idaho County GREEN CREEK The Y. M. I. of Green Creek are going to give nn entertainment on tbe 22nd of Febrnnry. They have prepared an elaborate p ro ll consista of several in strumental and Vocal pieces and farces, "Tbe Blindfolded Inn er" and "The Law-salt, selections are fall of wit and humor. Shonld anyone desire to bsve n hearty laugh 1st bim corns and hear them. Tbe entertainment will commence at 6 o'clock sharp st tlis Parochial school-house. As the members of tbe Y. M. I. have made np their minds to build a hall at Green Greek, Joe Schmidt has offered a site anywhere between the parsonage and the creek free of charge. The lodge will erect the hall in the near future. Joe Schmidt hsa disposed of three lots on tbs east side of the church for building purposes. It seems that some elderly persons have de cided to build near the church and store. A. Haener of Ferdinand is going to erect a general merchandise store at Green Creek. It is claimed that local people are becking bim. John and Ed Sonnen were visit ors in Orangeville last week attend ing to some legal matters. Snpeiintendent Glenville visited the Green Creek school last Wednesday and went away highly pleased with tbe conditions he found there. A brother-in-law of Jas. Haecker came to pay him a visit; bnt changed his mind and concluded that Camas Prairie was good enough for anybody.
