Freight is being unloaded at Cokeville for Star valley points. One consign ment of 5000 pounds was set out there Tuesday. Montpelier cannot afford to have this, especially when a few dollars well spent will pre vent it. The road from Snowslide la Star valley is almost equal to a turnpike and it only cost $100; a couple of hundred judiciously spent on the canyon road from this city to Snowslide will make a magnifi cent road out of it and then all the freight will go from this city as it should. doesn't envy Cokevilie its good for tune, still it cannot stand by and see this city lose, trade that it is entitled to and which can be had at so little expense. We believe the business men of this city ought to get up a subscrip tion for the improvement of the canyon road and put the money into competent hands for the thorough fare. Will Articles Have Been Filed. "Articles of incorporation of the Coppei King Mining Co., have been filed with the secretary of state. The purpose is to carry on a general mining business with headquarters at Montpelier, Bear Lake county. The directors names are: Joseph Fuller, Lee Snow, C. E. O'Connor, J. W. Wedel and G. C. Gray, all Montpelier, Idaho. Of tho $200,000 capital stock authorized, one-half has been subscribed bv the directors named."—Capital News.
