An Ogden special to the Salt Lake Herald of Aug. 19, says; "Spongberg, the big Swede pitcher secured by the Chicago Nationals from the Lobsters and who was recently farmed out to the Springfield, 111., team, pitched his first game for Spring field last Saturday and won his game.
