Wednesday while attempting to unbridle a horse, A. L. Berry of Wardboro, was thrown to the ground in such a manner to dislocate bis right knee and badly injure the lig aments. The injury was a very painful one and Mr. Berry was tak en the hospital at Salt Lake yester day for treatment. Mrs. Anna Bochman died at her lipme in Montpelier on Thursday night, August 8 from bronchial pneu monia. Deceased was about 78 years of age. 8he is survived by one son, who resides here, and other relatives residing somewhere in the east. Funeral services were held from the First ward meeting house last Sat urday afternoon at 2 o'clock. On Wednesday, Aug. 21st there will be several horse races and a ball game at Georgetown. One race which promises to be exciting will be between Boy Hoff's black mare and L. a Smart's grey pony. Parties from any part of the county who have horses, are invited to be on hand with them on that date. A dance in Georgetown at 'night will conclude the day's sports. Mr. Andelin has appeared in concerts in Berlin, London and other European cities. Miss Clark is one of Utah's favorite singers and lias charmed audiences thruout the inter-mountain country. They Were met here with teams and con veyed to Star valley, where the Gardner family reunion was held this week. All told there were about 200 members of the family in attend ance at the reunion, which began Tuesday night with a reception and closed last night with a big dance. Wednesday morning C. E. Wright, dWk of Walnut Camp, Woodmen of the World, received from the head camp at Denver a warrant for $2,000 payable to Mary E. Simmons, widow of Joseph T. Simmons, who died at his home in Eight Mile on July 17th.
