The following are sure winners on the republican ticket: French for congress with probably Smith as a running mate. Stewart for the Supreme Bench, Dempster for Lieutenant Governor; Gifford for Secretary of State; Huston for Auditor, Allen for Treasurer, Peterson for Attorney General, Shepherd for Supt. of Instruction and Bell as Inspector of Mines. itor. /
