I The Board met this day in regular session, pursuant to adjournmc it if yesterday, Present, Geo. L. Crocker, Chairman; John F. Hansen, L. E. Sal'a day, Members of the Board; H. T. West, Clerk. Whereupon the following preceedings were had: The bids for the care and maintenance of county' Indigents were opened, read and considered. The bid of Mrs. Margaret Moon offered to main tain all charges not bed fast for $35.00 per month, per person, and lied fast patients at $60.00 per month. Mrs. L. S. Pangburn offered to care for all county poor ordered into her charge at ] a fiat i ate of $45.00 per month per per son, including hair cuts, shaves, dress making and all attention except medical attendance. On motion of Hansen sec onded by Salladay, the contract for caring for the county poor was awarded to Mrs. 8. E. Pangburn in accordance with her bid, and the Couuty Attorney was instructed to draw rontrict in ac cordance with said bid for the term of one year. Whereupon the County Superinten dent appeared before the Board, and re quested an appropriation to defray her expenses to the Teachers National Con vention to be held at Cleveland, Ohio In June and July Whereupon on motion j of the chair, duly seconded and carried j the County Superintendent was al lowed a sum of money' not exceeding $100.00 to defray her expenses to such convention. Whereupon the bids for tlie County printing were opened and considered, and action deferred until a future day of its session. Whereupon the bids for furnishing drugs, medicines and supplies for Couu ty indigents, and for fumigating in in fectious desoa-ses was awarded to A, N. Sprague, in accordance with his bid therefor, he being the lowest and best bidder, and the County Attorney was instructed to draw a contract for oue year in conformity with such bid, Wherupon the bids for medical at tendance upon the County indigents and prisioners was awarded te H, W. Clouchek for one year, at, $240.00 per year, he being the lowest and best bid der therefor; and the County Attorney was instructed to draw a contract in conformity therewith. Whereupon the bids for the burial of the County poor was awarded to L. J. Miller lie being the lowest and best bidder therefor, and the County Attor ney was instructed to prepare a con tract for one year in conformity with such bid. Whereupon the communication from Hon. Edward A. Walters, District Judge, was read and considered, and in conformity with the recommendations therein the matter of the ventilation of the Court room was referred to C. J. Hahn, County Treasurer with authority to act. The matter of the procurlag of Chambers for the use of the Judge was referred to H. T.
