Hornibrook, of Berger, was in Hollister between trains Tuesday. C. M. Willey was a business visitor at the county seat Monday and Tues day. R. 13. Marshall Rarnhouse was a business visitor to the Magic City Monday, re turning Tuesday. W. F. Helsley of the Three Creek country, was a Twin Falls visitor sev eral days of last week. 13. Darlington, water master on the Salmon River project, was in the city on business last Saturday. Mrs, K. M. Mr. and Mrs. T. Howe entertained the M. A. Ray family and Mrs. Perry Sunday at six o'clock dinner. The new residence being erected on the ranch of C. E. Nelson, west of Hol lister, is progressing nicely. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Dufi'in will be glad to hear that their little daughter, Velva, is Improving rapidly. N. J. Nogel returned to Hollister Wednesday after having charge of the Berger Humber yard at, Berger for a couple of weeks. Garold Hill is building a four-room bungalow on his farm north of Hollis ter. The house will be ready for oc cupancy the first of tho week. Will F. Graham, an uncle of our lo cttl postmaster, W. F. Graham, left Twin Falls Tuesday for Iowa, where he intends to make his home in the future. Joe Gertlar and family and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Burrows were pleasantly en tertained Sunday at dinner at home of Mr. and Mrs. Win. Hoops, east of Hollister. Mrs. .1. M. Anderson, of Twin Falls, spent the first part of the week with her husband. Rev Mr. Anderson, who has charge of the building of the new church bore. J. 13, Langford and wife passed through town Saturday on their way to Rogerson, where Mr. Bangford will be employed by the Rogerson Mercan tile company. Another well has been drilled by Geo. White on the Roy O. McMaster ranch east of Hollister this week. The well is to he tested and the exact depth ascertained next week. C. A. Johnson and J. W, Hays, of Twin Falls, were in Hollister the first of tile week, and spent several days looking over the surrounding country with the intentio.li of locating here. Harley N. Butler unloaded a car load of household goods this week. Mr. Butler and his family are moving from Twin Falls to their ranch south of Hollister, where they intend lo lo cate permanently. Earl W. Hull has purchased the resi dence of N. J. Nogel. located on Main street, and moved in this week. .Sev eral of the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Hull gave them a house warming Tuesday evening, those present being: Miss Mary Heck, Frank Craven and Dr. W. A. Parrott. Mrs. Rainwater and Mrs. J. Sallee are preparing to open up a millinery establishment within a short time As soon as their 1 new spring stock arrives, a reception will be given to the ladies of Hollister and Vicit.ity. Be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Twin Falls, Jda ho: Section 1. The City of Twin Falls, Idaho, does hereby declare its inten tion to sprinkle with water the road way of certain streets and avenues, and parts of streets and avenues in said city, as hereinafter specified, and for that purpose to create and estab lish in said City I-oeal Improvement District No. 20. The general character of the said improvement shall be the sprinkling with water of the roadway of the streets and avenues and parts of streets and avenues as hereinbefore named, during the fiscal year of 1915, when and in such manner as shall be required to lay and keep down the dust on such streets and avenues and parts of streets and avenues. Section 4. The cost and expense of the said improvement is to be assess ed upon all the lots and lands in the said district, each lot and parcel of land therein being separately assess ed for the full expense of said im provement in proportion to the num ber of feet of each respective lot and parcel of laud fronting and abutting on said streets and avenues and parts of streets and avenues and in proportion to the benefits derived to the said property by reason I of tho said improvement; Provided, that the cost of such improve ment in the space formed by the junction of two or more streets, or where in one main street terminates in or crosses another main street, shall he paid by the city of Twin Falls. Section 5. The total cost of making the said improvement, according to the estimate of the Street Commissioner, is the sum of $6,450.00, divided as fol lows; Street frontage .$4,850.00 : intersections .... ! Section 6.
