flocks of turkeys, on our way from
Pembrooke to Craig.

city on business. Ross Is one of tho
best all around boys In the field, and
knows n good bourd when he sees It.

Although the “Bleeping Beauty and
tho Beaut'* has been roasted In a i

couple of Virginia cities, the play was
enthusiastically received at tho Blks
Opera House last night. Perhaps the
Virginia audiences aro not as well
versed in aesthetics as their West
Virginia brethren.
At any rate the “Sloping Beauty
and the Beast/’ Is evidently one of
the most elaborately staged and best
productions that has appeared here
this season.

beyond comparison, so far aa former

productions at the Elks Opera House
Js concerned, and the various musi
cal treats, were received wth an en
thusiasm seldom accorded any ag
gregation on the road.
The audience whh not large but wan
appreciative at every stage of the ^
