properly commended. Many statisti
cians, so-called, would have argued

longer period of llfn, on the average,
than seudonts who do not. engage In
sports, the greater longevity was duo
to atholotlcs at Yale. Dr. Anderson
Is fair enough to point out. that no
one can tell whethor the longer life
of the avrnge athlete was due to the
college sports he engaged In or to
tho sound body his parents endowed
him with. At least, tho parents
should hnvo some of the crodlt, for
thoso lungs, that stomach and that
heart action.
