A Democratic state convention is hereby called to meet in the city of Wheeling on the 28th day of May. 11*08. at 12 o'clock, M., for the pur pose of ejecting four delegates at large, and four alternate*, to rep resent the stat > at large in the demo cratic national convention, which convention the city of Denver, in the stato of Colorado, on the 7th day of July, 1908, and for the pur pose of nominating three, candidates for judges of the supreme court of appeals or West Virginia, to fill the vacancies in said court which will occur oti the first day of January, 1 909. Said t'onvention shall consist of legally elected delegates from the several count! s of the state, which delegates shall be apportioned be tween the several counties or the state as follows: Karh county Co have one delegate to said convention and no more, for each one hundred votes or fractional part thereof, of fifty or more votes in the respect ive counties for the Hon. John J. Cornwell, the Democratic candidate for governor in the general election of 1904.
