The remains were brought to the colored Odd Fellows' hall at Gratia m, and yesterday morning the body was Identified as that of Charley Crockett, of Kggles ton Springs, Va., who wah well known by several colored |#ople of Graham. He was also seen in Mine field Saturday morning and was In Graham about 3 o’clock Saturday afternoon. There are variotiR opin ions among the colored fieople at Graham about his death. Some, think he was knockixl from the bridge by a passing train while others believe he was murdered. HIb skull bone was split across the cen ter of the head and some of the colored jieople think it was done with a hatchet or an axe. His pipe and watch were found on his body, and also an emblem of the colored Red Men was found on 1he collar of his coat.
