Unless something Is done, the .Mayor -Aid. to furnish money to con tinue the c3ty’s executive depart ment;} in the dice barge of their sev eral functions, there will be no re course under the charter but to discontinue all fire hydrants, all eUctrlc lights, all of the ftro depart ment except the ehief. all of the po lice department except the chief, and street and health departments, except the Board of Affairs without any compen<sat on whatever.
