It lias filled a 100-barrel tank since the sand was tapped last Saturday, and has not been finished yet. Several new wells have been located in the neigh borhood. The oil was found in the Big Injun sand. Svbert & company have bought the old mill lot of C. Heddleson at Grandview, O., and will drill a well on it at once. There is o great deal of excitement and a rush for town lots is expected. Monroe County, Ohio. F. L. Mooney's Scott No. 3 came in Saturday dry. The Carter Oil company have a fishng job at their Iteasbeck No. 3. The Imperial Oil company's Christman No. 1 is due tomor row. The Imperial Oil company's Block No. 5 is drilling at 500 feet. The Troutman Drilling com pany have started their No. 1 on the Sheets east 40 acres. The Pure Oil company is start ing a well on the McCauley farm on Witten, in Bethel township. E. E. Cronin's J. W. Gattin No. 1 is drilling at 300 feet. The Pure Oil company's Moffet. 21 is drilling at 500 feet. The Imperial Oil & Gas com pany's Peter Walil No. 6 is readv for the casing. The Traders' Oil company Mooney and Shaffer's Sheets No 5 has been put to pumping and is making 50 barrels a day.
