Swan passed through the city this morn ing on their way home at Middle bourne from business missions to Marietta. The contract for the poles for the electric railway in this city and Steelton has been awarded to the Valentine Clark Company of Chicago. ? New Martinsville Dis patch. The hot chicken supper served I by the ladies of St. Paul's church I at the Citizens' Hose House last evening, was very liberally pat ronized, and a snug sum was real ized from the affair. The members of the Knights Templar returned this afternoon from Fairmont, where they had been in attendance at the thirty first annual conclave. They all report having enjoyed the occas ion immensely.
