Eight month* ago I teas so ill that I was compelled to lie or ait down nearly all the time. My stomach was so weak and upset that I could keep nothing on it and I vomited frequently. I could not urinate without great pain and I coughed bo much that my throat and lungs were raw and sore. The doctors pro nounced it ftright's disease and others said it wan consumption. It mattered little to me what th"y called it and I had no de sire to live. A sister visited rue from St. Louis and ask^d me if 1 had ever tried Wine of Cardui. I told her 1 had not and she bought a bottle. 1 believe that it saved inylite. I believe many women could sa^e much suffer ing if they but knew of its value. <7_ Don’t you want freedom from pain? Take Wine of Cardui and make one supreme effort to be well. You do not need to Le a weak, helpless sufferer. You can have a woman's health and do a woman's work in life. Levine, Catlettsburg’s Largest Men's aud Boys’ Outfitters. CATLETTSBURG, KENTUCKY. I What Wayne Repub licans Think of Their Candidate: Recognizing the fact that the south-western part of the State is en titled to at least one representative ; on the State ticket in the coining 'campaign; that the progress made by this section both in business and Republicanism no longer leaves us in the background of State politics; ami in view of the fact that we have a worthy son of i this county aspiring to the nomina tion for State Treasurer, a man whose business ability, perronal integrity, political sagacity and party zeal is <>t the highest type; a man who would carry honor, dignity, efficiency ami courtesy to the high office to which he aspires; a man whose life and char acter has been such that he is idolized by his own party, honored by his op ponents and respected by all who know him,and a man for whose can didacy and aspirations, we have no apologies to make; therefore, be it Resolved, That wo hereby endorse and heartily approve of the candi dacy of the lion. T. T. MoDougal for the nomination for State Trcas nrpr, and the delegates this day chosen to represent Wayne county in the State convention to lie held in the oity of Wheeling on the 12th day of July, 1004, he and they are here by instructed and directed to cast the entire vote of Wayne county in said convention for the Hon T. T. McDgugal for State Treasurer, and use all honorable means at their command to secure his nomination. Adopted by eon veil (ion June IS, 1004. THE PRESS Should Be Recognized It looks like T. T. McDougal, of the Ceredo Advance, is going to latid the Republican nomination for the office of State Trasurer. lit is saiti to Ik; a fine man, and his nomination will l»e a recognition of the Republican press of the State.— Mercer Republican. T. T. McDougal. of the Ceredo Advance, seems to have the unani mous support of the newspapers for the nom nation for State Treasurer. It is obvious, therefore, that he would get the nomination if the newspapers should run the Republi can convention.— Fairmont West Virginian. Editor T. T. McDougal, of the Ceredo Advance, wants to be State 'Treasurer and we think he ought to be nominated. No doubt he, with his paper, has done more to reduce the big Democratic majority in VV ayne county than any other one man in it. The press should be rec ognizeri by the Wheeling Conven tion.—Morgan Messenger, Berkeley Springe. Treasurer McDouaal. The Record join* the press of the State in thus publicly iecogniz ing the editor of the Teredo Ad vance, Mr. Thos. T. Me Do a gal a* worthy of the nomination for Treasurer hy the Republicans. Rternity will only tell how much editor McRoiigal has done for his party; the columns upon columns of matter published week after week and year after year in the interest of his party for nothing; without money and without price; often pressed for means to pay expenses, and now the bestowal of this honor on Mr. Me Donga I would be but an act of deserved recognition. Other good men have been mentioned for this office and the Record likes them but none are more deserving than Mr. McDougal.—— Roane Co. Record, Personal Delinquent List.
