Grady learns that the pictures for | the art exhibit to be held tu the Ce redo school building next week are now* on exhibit in the Catlellsburg high school w here the exhibit is be ing held this week. Our people ought to do as much &• the Catletts burg people in supplying pictures for our schools. The pictures are loaned by the Elson Art Co., ot B «ton, w ho are by all odds the largest manufactur ers of the copus of the great world masterpieces in the T. S. An inter esting feature in connection with the exhibit is the contest in the grades f<«r one of the prize pictures. 'The grades from one to four secu ring the most money for its grade will secure the copy of a picture en tilled “Wake Up.*’ The grade from five to eight securing the most mon ey tor the art fund will be given a copy of the picture “The Spirit of 70 ” These pictures will be on ex hibit in Wright Brothers window until the exhibit is over. Any one can contribute enough for a picture who may desire to do so or any organisation may do so. Already two pictures of ten dollars value have been promised by orga nizations. Any organization ot in dividual giving a picture will have his name fixed to the frame as the donor. Because there was but one ticket in the field for municipal officers and members of the school hoard there was a very light vote polled Saturdav. Perdue and James Wright, Sr. Members of the echixd hoard, for the long term, L, F. Marcum; for the short term, W. P. Harris. Annual Election. The annual election of the Con gregational church was held last vVednetday evening and resulted 'as follows: .Secretary, Will Cowie; treasurer, J. I,. Long; organist, Mi«# lulia Wright; assistant organ ist, Mias Blanche Griffith. The trus-tees and deacons were all re elected. It was decided to call on trial K -v. J. .S. Hindi, a graduate of the Atlanta Theological seminary. He is expected here sometime in May. Rev. J. K.
