“COULDN’T KILL YOU”

Physician Is Much Surprised At Won

MARTINS FERRY, OHIO. MAN.
Man Telle of Remark Hit Physician
Mad* When Told United Doctors
Ar* One* Who Cured Him.
A realy amusing incident transpired
recently that brings to light some of
the prejudice heJd by various people
against any new innovation—such as
the new system of medicine as prac
ticed bv the United Doctors, who have
their Wheeling, W. Va Institute on
the second floor of the Mrl-aln Rtdg..
s' 12 Twelfth street, near Market
street.
in Martins Ferry. Ohio, there lives
n man whose name Is Wni Pyle, whose
home Is at the corner of Ninth and
Park Ave. Mr. Pyle, who was seri
ously ailing from a number of trou
bles. among which was and Is kidney
trouble. Anally decided to go to the
United lioctors Institute to see what
they could do for him. as hla doctor
said he could do nothing more and
I thought nothing more could he done.
At the end of one w eek the tremen
dous sweling of Mr Pyle's limbs had
been reduced to almost normal s.ze
and It was then that he met the doctor
■who formerly treated him. The sur
prised doctor asked him what had
happened and was told the United
Doctors had accomplished the results
seen. Hitt doctor laughingly slapped
him on the hack and remarked that
The United Itortors couldn't kill you."
The patient dryliy remarked In reply
1 that "It seemed so." The good doctor
the other day again saw the patient
ratlin*! upon hint, apparently In hopes
that lie would And him not unite so
well. When the patient offered proof
that he was even better than the pre
»ious week the doctor remarked: Well
they are giving you dope that will do
you more harm In the end.'" The pa
tient wisely remarked he enjoyed .that
tort of harm.
To the doctor the change probably
seemed Impossible and so It was. by
his methods of treating the disease—
hut the impossible is being pceotn- !
plished daily at t il the United Doctors ’
Institutes and the testimonial bv the
ailing man refeired to tells Its' own
story :
.Mart'ns Ferry. O.. Jnn. 1st. 1913. j
"When I consulted the United Doc
tors I had to get a man to help mo up
the stairs to the ofTITice Mv feet and
lower limbs were so greatfv swollen
that I could arccljr find >bo**« l«ir£e

On. ,eri; ago 1 began my treat

past three nights I hare Hept as well,
