People in terested In cattle from many state* made the trip to this city nnd several bought cattle and will take them to their farms. It Is estimated that close to 3,ft0l people visited the farm yesterday. Close to five hundred automobile ibearlng licenses from New York. Pennsylvania. Virginia. New Jersey and many other states were parked In the Acids sur rounding the stables The total receipts of the auction was given out as $l5.20o.0|> which Is an av erage of f34S per head. There was 38 head of cattle on .sale. The cattle prev ious to the auction had been carefully Inspected and classed as worthy of going In with any h?rd in the country. Comment on the excellent condition of the CAttle was heard from one visitor who halls from Ohio and it Is under stood the gentleman is a shrewd Judge of cattle. High Prices Paid The feature sal? of the day was the sale of the heifer Raider's Victory Maid of Waddlngton which was bought by Carl Bott of TrladelpMa for the sum of l\000 after a spirited bidding contest. The second highest sale was made when J. C. Sonda received the heifer High Rock for $875 The third high sal? was tied In price. J. C. Penny of Hopewell. N. J., bought the heifer Molly of High Rock for $630, and G. II. Tatterson of Belle Verne. Pa. bought the heifer Imp Adelaide of Chateau A. L. 'Etocq H. E. for "the same price.
