Tim Trattls-Tlinmson damage,
suit in tli o Cass county circuit court
resulted in a verdict for the defend
ant. The suit was the outgrowth of
;i neighborhood difficulty in which
Thomson allowed that Tattles accused
him of stealing a hog. Thomson had
Trattles arrested and the latter in
turn sued Thomson for malicious pros
ecution and slander. Both men are
prominent farmers of Howard town
ship and the court room was filled
with interesting spectators while the
trial was in progress.
