Loring of Rochester has telephoned to local authorities offer ing a reward for the capture of the thief or thieves who entered his home, in Rochester between 7 and 8 o'clock, one night last, week and stole a ladies7 gold watch and chain, some other jewelry and an overcoat. He suspects those that' robbed the Sles drug store at Claypool. Dr. Loring offers $50 for the appre hension of the thief or thieves, and $25 for the return of the ladies' gold watch. Dehorityy chief of the kjate board of accounts; presented to ine general assembiyesterday a re port of accounts since the begin ning of the actual field work in Jan uary, 1910. The report "showed that a total, of 1,711 examinations were made ata total cost of $143.o52.30 to the municipalities examined. The ers were $741,235.95; of this amount C50.9G7.il has been paid in by the officials and the former officials, held to be' short .in their accounts. Of essential to wom IF 4 '4 the total examinations made seven were of state officers or institutions, 314 were county officers, 1,342 were of township offices, 97 were of civil cities of town offices, while 51 were of school cities or towns. Of the total coit of the examinations $143,525.17 was for the per diem of examiners, while $1,977.23 was for railroad fare. CLOSE MEETINGS AT THE UNION CHURCH Rev. Manly Deeter and wife of Mil ford returned to their homes -Monday, having closed a series of meetings at the Union church, five miles - south west . of Plymouth. The meetings have been in progress for the past three weeks, and were well attended. Rev. Deeter says that in spite of the inclement weather and sickness which has been prevailing in the neighbor hood the meetings wer highly success ful. William Carter ;3 seriously ill in Quarters, occupied by him and two or three others, in the old bake oven, in th rear of LaPorte street. Carter is destitute and deserving of consid eration of the city's charitable or ganizations. M. Freyman of Portland Oregon, who has been visiting with friends in Plymouth and vicinity for a cou ple of weeks, left today for a sojourn at Valparaiso and other po'nts.
