REYNOSA. June 3—The annua!
Fourth of July bullfight here, which
always draws a large celebration
crowd from both sides of the Rio
Grande, will feature the only French
n-.atador in the world, Emilio Re
greny of Part*.
The Frenchman became interest
ed in bullfighting while cn a vaca
! t on in Spain and at first took it up
at a hobby His skill developed jso
rapidly, however, that he soon be
1 can to fight professionally and even
tually came to Mexico to follow his
profession. The Frenchman is said
to be unusually skillful and daring.
The second matador to appear on
the card is Miguel Gonzalez who has
been very successful in Mexico City
ard in the other larger rings of
Mexico.
The management has obtained
four bulls from the “Oarabato"
ranch for the Fourth of July pro
gram. Bulls from this ranch were
used on the May 5 fight here and
they made a very excellent showing.
The same type of bulls are being
used at the request of the Valley

Seats for the fight are verv rea
sonably priced and the prices are
not being Increased for the holiday
card
The fight is scheduled to get un
der way at 5 p. m.. avoiding the heat
of the early afternoon.

the legislators of that state In 1930.
The movement, both In Massa
chusetts and Kentucky got under
way after official action had been
taken in several Instances to punish;
newsmen for refusing to “talk.”
