Miss Huffman Is Bride Of A. Thornton (Special to The Herald) SAN BENITO, Sept. 10.—Interest ing U> a large circle ol friends was the wedding Saturday morning of Miss Eloise Huffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Huffman and Mr. Albert W. Thornton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Thornton. The marriage beautiful for it’s simplicity was held in the home of the bride's parents In Ben Lora Lane. , Beiore an improvised altar of fern and pink roses the young couple pledged their vows. Reverend C. S. McKinney, pastor of the First Bap tist church read the marriage lines. Only the immediate families of the bride and groom witnessed the cere mony. The bride wore a becoming frock of blue triple sheer with matching accessories. Her corsage was fash ioned of pink sweetheart roses and fern. Following a wedding trip to Corpus Christ! and Victoria the young couple will be at home in the Phillip's apartments. • • • Preceding the departure of Mrs. Vestal Staats daughter of Mrs. An nie Ratliffe for Fort Worth, her mother entertained with a pretty afternoon bridge in the home of Mrs. Staats’ sister, Mrs. Arthur Moore.
