Curry, of Weldon, and Enos Davis, of north of Garden Grove, drove down to Leon Monday to look after some business matters and visit relatives and friends. Mlsa Fanny Clark departed Tuesday for Des Moines where she will visit her sister Mrs. J. L. Parrish, and accompany them to the lakes for a few weeks' vacation. Miss Margaret Young returned Tuesday from Fairfield, where she had been attend ing the commencement exercises at Par son College. She was accompanied by her friend and class-mate, Miss Josephine Todd, of Wlnterset, who will visit in this city for some time. The many friends of Miss Jennie Brant, of High Point, will be pleased to know that she has so far recovered from her recent illness to be able to be brought to Leon and is staying with her aunt, Mrs. Kate Brown, where she can have the best medical care, and It is hoped that she will soon regain her former good health.
