Wells, private secretary at the salary of 12(500 per year. Mr. Wells is a son of A. F. Wells of this place, and grew to manhood here. He is a young man full of those excellent qualities which invari ably lead to success. He has been in the navy department for some time, and has scared no eflort to become pre ficient in all work placed in his hands.
