She stayed in Lamoni long enough to get her teeth repaired at Dr. Math er's. She would visit relatives and at Leon and other places. They have a section of land in Lane county and intend selling out and retiring. —Lamoni Patriot. John S. Parrish, private secretary to United States attorney M. L. Temple, at Osceola, came down Fri day evening and visited over night with his friends in this city. Mr. Parrish is a candidate for the repub lican nomination for county attor ney of Clarke county at the coming primaries, and reports are that he stands a flattering chance of receiv ing the nomination. The department stores of Frank X. Hansell and Bradley-Wasson Merc. Co., were both burglarized last Satur day night. It is thought that local talent did the work, as they were after the money. At Hansell's a few dollars were secured in nickels and pennies and at the Bradley-Wasson store all that was missed was five pennies.
