Our Reason For Doing This
The News has always said when it got ready to give away any portion of its profits it
would give it to its Readers and not to outsiders. It believes and always has believed
that the men who stand by you year in and year out are entitled to whatever you have
to give and we now propose to give it to them. We want more subscribers. The Daily
News already reaches 1500 homes Each Day and the Weekly approximately as many.
We want a Thousand more on the two lists and are making this offer as one means to
get them. The News is the BEST Paper Ever Published in a town the size of Atlantic.
