AUDUBON COPHIY BOY Making A Success Of Life la New Sec tion Of Colorado. Raised In Au dubon County. Mr. Edward Shrader, a aon of Mr. Wiiiiam Shrader of Audubon, was raised in Viola township. Audubon County, Iowa. When quite a small boy he came with his parents to this County and settled in Viola township where he grew womanhood. A few years ago thinking that the 3reat West offered the be3t opportunities for young men, he commenced to hunt for the ideal location that would pro duce and sustain the three great ele ments of life-health, wealth and hap piness. He fouud the country to his liking near Craig, in Moflat County, Colora do where he settled. Three years ago he married one of Colorado's fair daughters, Miss Alice Green, a daugh ter of one of the oldest citizers of near Craig. On tin 16th of the present month a iittle boy baby came to bless their borne and will be the first to call them Papa and Mamma The fond parents are of course proud of their offspring' and welcomed the little one to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Shrader built a neat little cottage last spring near the home of Mrs. Sbrader's parents in the outskirts of Craig when the young people went into partnership with her parents in the cattle business. Their success has been marked, from the be ginning, and prosperity is smiling up on them with "the smile that won't come off." Temporary Guardian James M. Cbristoffersen, a son of J. P. Cbristoffersen, who it will be remembered shot his wife at Atlanti a few weeks ago and was taken to the asylum at Clarinda baa been appointed guardian for biB father's estate. Returned To Minnesota Our daughter, Mrs. Grace Hansen of St. Paul, Minnesota, who has •been visiting her parents here for a couple of weekB returned to her borne Thursday last via Manning, where she will remain a couple of days with an old schoolmate. She expects to arrive home Saturday -evening. Moved To Atlantic Mr. Lloyd Graham, photographer, local manager of thr Bay State Stu dio, removed to Atlantic with his entire equipment on Monday of this week. It is his expectation to return and re-open the studio in the spring. For sale by Winfrey & Chantry. Clara Simonscn Dead Clara Louise Simonsen, the little daughter of Mr. hod Mrs. Marinus Simonseti died at her home near Brayton, Nov. 7, 1911. She was born June 3,1909. The funeral services were preached by Rev. Af ter arriving at his home early Friday morning he retired for a nap and about noon went to the barn to do tbe chores but soon re turned to the'house in a dazed con dition with his face bleeding and swollen. A doctor was called and when restored said he lost con sciousness in the barn and fell When the hogs had bitten his face which brought him to he returned to the house. Erb and son of Chad ron, Nebraska arrived here last Saturday on a visit to ber parents, K. M. Persing and wife and other relatives.
