Moved by Sampson and seconded by Johnson that the. Hans Madsen and others of Shar on Township presented a petition signed by sixty one voters of the township asking that the township be dhided into two voting precincts there being on file a petition sign ed by one hundred fland twenty vo ters of said township remonstrating to said change after a careful con sideration of the matter the board decided to make no change In the precinct. Elvin H-ort of Carroll is visiting a few days, with his friend, Virgil Bates. Mr. Charles Cornelius of Bayard was seen on the streets of Gray, last Sunday. Mrs. G. E. Farrell left for Des Moines Tuesday where she expects to visit a, few days. Mrs. Anna Rogers left Thursday for Carroll, where she expects to stay a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Tom Spilker departed Friday for Chicago, where she expects to make a few days visit with her son, Vere. Mrs. Aikman and her niece re turned home, Friday, fom Emporia, Kansas, where they were visiting one month. Jimmie Olsen attended the show and dance in Audubon, last Satur day night. Nels J. Jenseni and Peter Morten sen caught sixty fish last Sunday forenoon. Mr. Arrismith from Gray passed though Hamlin, last we.ek, on his way to Exira. John P. Jensen, George Kyhnn and Jesse Beck sold hogs to our buyers Friday. William Olsen and son visited at the Jacob Jacob6en home east of Exira last week. Nels J. Jensen, Willie Rattenborg, Andrew Hansen attended the ball game in Exira, last Sunday.
