§ ufrli: Opinion. BY HARRY J. GREEN, . PECORAH, IOWA, MAY 18, 1921 THE SUPERVISORS 1:30 p. m. Monday, May 2nd. 1921. The board met as per adjournment and was called to order by the chair man. All members present. -Moved, seconded and carried the e.oward'a report lor the month of April be approved. Moved, seconded and carried the bonds and contracts of G. H. Thune and M. A. Nolan for road superintendents be approved. Moved, seconded and carried school fund loan No. 972 be approved. At 5:30 o'clock p. m. the board on motion adjourned till 3:30 a. m. next morning. 8:30 a. m. Tuesday, May 3rd, 1921. The board inet as per adjournment and was called to order by the chair man. Ail members present. Minutes of previous day’s meeting read and approved. The forenoon was spent in checking claims and at noon the board on motion adjourned till 1:30 o’clock p. m. 1:30 p. m. Tuesday, May 3, 1921. The board met as per adjournment and was called to order by the chair man. All members present except M. C. Bergan and K. F. Bakken who #ere out on a road inspection trip. Bergan and Bakken came back about three o’clock. Moved, seconded and carried Jacob Meyer be appointed Justice of th 6 i’eace for Calmar Township for the balance of the term. The rest of the afternoon was spent in cheeking claims and at 5:00 o’clock j> m. the board on motion adjourned till 8:30 a. m. next morning. 8:30 a. m. Wednesday, May 4th, 1921. The board met as per adjournment and was called to order by the chair man. Minutes of previous day’s meeting r< ad and approved. Bond petition No. 1221 was at this time acted on and the board on motion instructed the county auditor to ap point appraisers to appraise the extent of damages which would arise. The board then adjourned in order to make an inspection of a certain pro posed road in Jackson and Sumner Townships. At 4:0 o’clock p. m. the board return ed from their road trip and were again called to order by the chairman. Moved, seconded and carried Itoad "No. 1220 be established as prayed for In petition. Road to be fifty feet wide. The board then finished the checking •of the claims. Moved, seconded and carried all claims as audited be allowed and the county auditor instructed to issue war rants against the proper funds in pay ment of same. On motion the board derided to have -the following named persons, who are now Inmates at the Insane asylum at Independence transferred to the asylum *>.t the County Home at Freeport, Iowa: Anna Marie Viken. I>otMe Vine. Kate Ftteldorf. John f\ Knox, Albert Reeves, and Fred Tomasek. Transfer to he made subject to approval by the patients paurdians or others who mipht he willing or are now psyinp for their keep at Independence. lowa. Minutes of day’s meetinp read and approved.
