Enter tain Over 100,000 Visit ors at Reunion ACCOMMODATIONS FOR ALL Chattanooga Is expecting an at tendance of 100,000 to 150,000 at tho Cotifbderate reunion May 27-29, ond is making preparations to entertain that number. The hotel facilities of Chattanooga ore not excelled by nny city of like population ln the south. The city has tweuty-seven hotels, somo of them of large capacity nnd built on modem lines. Tho hotel rates for the Confederate reunion will be the same as are charged every day of the week. Rates will not be increased by any local hotel during the reun ion week. Chattanooga has hotels, boarding houses and private homo accommodations for 150,000 visitors. Passenger Bates Low The Southeastern Passenger As sociation has adopted a rate of one cent a mile eaub way for the reunion This rate applies to all the territory east of the Mississippi and south of the Potomac. The Southwestern Passenger Association, covering ter ritory west of the Mississippi, haB put the fare at one and one third centB a mile each way frbra point of purchasing tickets to the Mississippi river. From tho river to Chattanoo ga the one cent rate applies. Vu effort Is now being made to have the Southwestern Passenger Association adopt the one-cent rate also in its territory. The Chattanooga Veter ans' Reunion Association Is asking the co-operation of all Interested parties to get the rate reduced west of the' Mississippi.
