ness career of eighty-four years, and take this opportunity of thanking our custo

Messrs. Hunt we will have our office at the old stand until August 1st, where set

0. and O.'s double track from Russell to
Huntington is about ready for the rails,
and the completion of the track is ex
pected by September 1st.
During the paBt week Mr. L. T. Ander
son sold a fine coach gelding to parties
at Ashland, and a pair of extra good
mules to Stewart & Pitts, of Clarksburg,
W.Va.
Second Paymen Made.
Washington, July 28. The Indian
bureau Monday paid $150,000 to the
Kiowa and Apache Indians at Anadar
ko, Okla., being the second payment
made to them for surplus lands under
the act passed by congress In 1902.
Charged With Child Murder.
Brownsville, Pa., July 28. Wm. C.
Arnold, 25, a farmer, was taken to jail
in Uniontown Monday night charged
with tbo murdor of his new born son.
His wife, Mary Effle Arnold, 22, Is also
charged with murder".

Rev. Dr. Blodgett, of St. Paul's Church. Cincin
nati, O., will deliver his lecture on "The Man of
Gallllee" on Saturday, July 25th. and also preach
on the first Sunday, and Rev. E. S. Dunham, of
Delaware, 0 tbo noted evangelist, will be pres
ent during the entire meeting. During the
meeting the ministers of the Covington and Ash
land districts will be heard.
Miss Annie Gallimore, of India, will have
charge of the children's services. B. K. Muse
will lead the singing. Miss Cni6C, of Latonta,
Ky., will bo the organist. The Presiding Elders,
F. W. Barrop of the Covington and J. R. Ifowes
of the Ashland districts, will be in charge of all
the services.
