During the scarcity of Field Fence last Spring we
bought a lot of "Pittsburg Perfect" to help us out
on hurry orders, many of our customers finding it
inconvenient to wait longer for other delayed ship
ments. Having about two-thirds of a car-load of
the Pittsburg product left, in 26, 32 and 47-inch
widths, we are very anxious to dispose of same so
as to reduce stock to about the proper proportions.
To effect a speedy sale of what remains of the
"Pittsburg Perfect" we are willing to cut the price
quite liberally. It is a good article and is well
liked by those who have fenced their fields with it,
and we make the reduction only for the reason

fallen since Sunday evening and the ground Is
once more muddy.
Chinch bugs have made their appearance on
late corn and millet, and farmers fear they will
be ready to devour the young wheat.
Farmers are feeding their fattening hoes
crushed wheat as a substitute for corn.
School will close at Bernard Wednesday in or
der to give the children an opportunity to see
the big show.
Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Tucker have returned
home after several days visit with relatives in
Covington.
Miss Marian Worraald, of Maysville, was the
guest of Miss Yancey Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Little and children, of
Maysville, visited relatives here Saturday and
Sunday.
Mies Pearl Beigle was called to Cincinnati Sat
urday evening iu response to. a teleRram an.
nounclng the sudden illness of her mother who
has been visiting in the city for several days.
Later reports state she is better.
Richard C. Williams claims that his pond,
fifty feet from his residence, is the finest in the
county. It has a circumference of 170 yarda at the
top, gradually descending to fifteen feet in the
center. Its excessive drain during the late
drouth in supplying stock wafer has only re
duced Its supply about thiee feet.
