THE RUSSIAN EMBASSY. t Is Flooded With Offers of Assistance From Americans. Washington, Feb. 18. The Russian embassy is flooded with offers of as sistance from Americans in various walks of life. LetterB from 12 physi cians arrived Wednesday. The Rus sian ambassador has been obliged to abandon his original Intention to an swer each of these offers with a per sonal letter, but a cordial letter of thanks is sent by the embassy to each writer. Thieves got hold of the Iron trunk of James Mc Comb, of New York, containing $50,000 worth of diamonds, taking It from tho train between Houston and Galveston. The act was discovered in time to res cue It. The thieves escaped. Albert Wilson Arrested. , Kansas City, Feb. 18. Albert Wil son, charged with murder and with being a fugitive from justice from Athens, Ala., has been arrested near Greenwood, this county.
