OAKLAND, Feb. 21.—One of the most horrible tragedies in the records of this city occurred today when a husband killed his wife nnd was later shot dead by his own son. Henry Goldburg who was a painter by trade, and his wife, quarreled con stantly. Recently the quarrels have become more bitter and culminated today in a lieroo light during which Goldluirg si lot and lulled Mrs. Gold berg. The son Kdward, who is 21 years of age, ramo upon the scene jm mediately and with the gun which took his mother's life he shot and killed ids father. After the deed the boy gave him self up to tiie police but no one thinks that he will be made to suffer.
