TO DYNAMITE SECY HOUSTON

WASHINGTON, June 2.—Four
sticks of dynamite, with burning fuse
attached, was found today, under the
office of Secretary Houston. The'
watchman who found the dynamite
believes It was placed there by a man
by the nume of Daniels who is thought
to tie insane and who was arrested
by the police a short time after the
discovery in the vicinity of the build
ing.

H. Luchsinger. president of the llum

The senate committee on industrial
expositions favorably reported n Joint
amendment to the Sundry civil bill
appropriating two hundred thousand
dollars to provide an Alaska exhibit
at the Panama-Pacific exposition. This
measure will be expedited so as t..
enable the people of Alaska to collet
and forward the exhibit by the time
of opening the exposition. It ir. nt t
