There will be a meeting of the Sew ard Volunteer Fire Department at 8 o'clock in the town hall. Steamer Admiral Watson is sche duled to sail today from Seattle ftj Alaska ports. J. P. Hannon is expected to come to Seward on the Alameda from Cordova and will return on the same steamer. Steamer Alameda is expected to ar rive at Cordova during the night ac cording to cable advices. H. W. LaVille came in on the train last night front Mile 52 and is regist ered at the Hotel Seward. The cable has been repaired at Cape Fanshaw and Juneau is now hooked up with the remainder of the system. ^ Mrs. William Fairman came in from Mile 21) last night and is registered at the Hotel Seward. Hishop Criinont is expected to ar rive on the steamer Alameda to de cide regarding the future of the Sew ard General hospital. The ladies of the Methodist Aid Society v ill meet tomorrow afternoon. ( Thursday ) at 2 o'clock with Mrs. C. A. Kstes. Flection of officers for the ensuing period will take place.
