Freight shipments originating in California for Alaska, are being .nrnt north on the railroad in car load lots to Seattle and there placed on board the Alaska steamers. -+ STAY IN ALASKA Several women passengers on thrt Alameda yesterday, hound to Anchor age, stated that Alaskans had no idea of the troubles in the states. One wo man told a Seward resident that times were nearly rebellious in the states, the laboring men have been spending money as fast as they earned it and when products advanced, they had no money saved up and would strike.
