ThU Evidence Should Prove Every
Claim for Doan't Kidney
Pill* In Alwk*'
Relief from the pains and aches of a
bail back U always welcome to every
backache sufferer: but to cure a lame,
weak or aching back is what's wanted.
Cure it so it will stay cured It can be
done. Here's the strongest evidence
to prove it.
w. W. Lee, painter of Willis street,
near l'lacer street, Redding, CaL. says:
"Like the majority of men who follow
my calling, if the action of the ingredi
ents used in the business was not the
primary cause of kidney complaint,
they certainly aggravated it when the
attacks occurred. 1 do not wau: my
friends and acquaintances in Kedding
to think that [loan's Kidney Pills have
radically cured an old chronic case of
kidney complaint like mine, but this I
can conscientiously say, the treatment
undoubtedly did me a vast amount of
good. Anything that helps a man
wh<?e back has ached so badly that he
could not sleep at nigbt. who many and
many a time when at work could
hardly push a brush to and from him
without suffering almost unendurable
twinges. Is pleased to obtain a remedy
which brings relief. To say that Doan's
Kidney Pills relieved me, very mildly
expresses the amount of benefit I re
ceived from the treatment."

Pre?bjrterian? Celebrate Halloween
A delightful Halloween party was
given last evening by the Young Peo
ple's Society, in the annex of the Pres

ceedings that go with the one day of the
year when, according to Scottish lore,
nature is suspended and the superna
tural holds sway, were had.
There were 35 present, aud they were
received by Miss Olive Springsted and
Miss Hannah Thomson. Refreshments
were served just before midnight.
