Newman, who has been visiting his mother; brothers and sisters in Northern Arizona for the past month, left Monday for his home at Woodside, California. Conductor Walter Davidson, who uses the Winslow short run for the Santa Fe, returned last evening from Los Angeles where he has been in the hospital for a couple weeks. Conductor Russell Stone has charge of the work train distribut ing material for the new block system between Flagstaff and Ash Fork. Brakeman Joe Roth is assisting in lifting cars around. R. C. Blaine, brother of Agent C. E. Blaine, accompanied by his wife, are recent arrivals from Burns, Oregon. Mr. Blaine is also a railroad man and will probably enter the service again in Arizona. H. M.
