Thornton has commenced logging for the Coconino Lumber Co., at Riordan this week with a bunch of good teams. He expects later to get more heavy logging teams from Utah. Harry Conrard, the lumber salesman, came in last wek from Chicago where he now has His headquarters and has been doing the Greenliiw mill at Cliffs and visiting old time friends here. Senator Isaac Barth went through Flagstaff last Friday on his way to Prescott on legal busi ness. Senator Barth is enjoying ttie privilege of being a minority member of the senate in the state legislature at Santa Fe. A small blaze Sunday morning burned a woodshed in the rearof the old Pulliam residence on Phoe nix xvenue. Some one had been rooming in the shed and a defect ive flue started to blaze. The residence was damaged slightly.
